CHILDREN & ADOLESCENTS
Online Therapy for Children & Adolescents
Support for emotional well-being, behavior, and life transitions, with families involved along the way.
Helping young people and their families.
Children and teens face real pressures at home, at school, and with friends. With experience in educational and family counseling settings, I work with young people and the adults who support them.
Families often reach out about:
- Worry, stress, or school-related anxiety
- Changes in mood, behavior, or motivation
- Adjusting to transitions such as moves, divorce, or a new school
- Difficulty with peers, confidence, or managing emotions
- Family communication and conflict
HOW THERAPY CAN HELP
What to expect.
For children and younger adolescents, a parent or guardian typically makes the first contact and helps us get started. We'll talk about goals, how parents and guardians will be involved, and how privacy works for younger clients.
Telehealth works well for many young people, but not every child. We'll consider age, attention, and needs together to decide whether virtual sessions are a good fit.
Every person's experience is different, and therapy works best as a collaboration. We'll set goals together and adjust as we go.
FOR PARENTS & GUARDIANS
Preparing for a telehealth session.
- Set up a quiet, private space with a device, camera, and stable internet
- Stay nearby for younger children in case they need help with technology
- Your child must be located in Massachusetts during each session
