This notice explains how www.connecttherapyonline.com collects and uses information. It does not describe how clinical information is handled. Clients receive Connect Therapy's separate HIPAA Notice of Privacy Practices, which explains how protected health information is used and disclosed and describes your rights. A copy is available on request.

Information you choose to send

The contact form does not store or transmit your message through this website. Selecting "Open Email Draft" opens a pre-addressed email in your own email app, and the information is sent only if you send that email. Messages you send are used to respond to your inquiry.

Please do not send health information, insurance member ID numbers, or other sensitive details by email or through the contact form. Standard email is not a secure way to share confidential information. Clinical information is collected through secure systems once services begin.

Website analytics

This website uses Google Analytics to understand how visitors use the site, such as which pages are viewed, how visitors arrive (for example, from a search engine), general device and browser type, and approximate location at the city or region level. Google Analytics uses cookies or similar technologies to collect this information.

• Google Signals and advertising personalization are turned off.
• Extra text in page addresses (query strings) is not sent to Google Analytics.
• Anything you type into the contact form is not sent to Google Analytics.
• Analytics is not used on the Telehealth Portal page.

The Telehealth Portal and any secure scheduling, intake, or billing systems are operated by third-party health technology providers and are governed by their own privacy and security practices. This website also links to other sites, such as insurance and government resources, that have their own privacy policies.

Children

This website is not designed to collect information from children. For clients under 18, a parent or guardian typically makes the first contact.

Emergencies

This website and its email are not monitored for emergencies. If you are in immediate danger, call 911. In the U.S., call or text 988 for the Suicide & Crisis Lifeline.
